Five best Dota 2 heroes to boost MMR in patch 7.31

The best Dota 2 characters in patch 7.31.

Patch 7.31, released on the night of February 24 in Dota 2 has somewhat disappointed the expectations of fans who were hoping for a global transformation of the game. However, changes made by developers have had a significant impact on the parameters of some heroes. In particular, it affected the win rate and matchmaking efficiency.

Most of the characters were affected by the update, but five of them, who were made excellent candidates for an MMR boost, got a lot of attention with the patch.

Huskar Dota 2 character

The update significantly increased this character’s win rate by 3% and now stands at 54.56%, with a 53.2% win rate among pro players. In addition, the update has significantly increased the popularity of the character.

Despite some losses in basic characteristics as a result of the update, the character has generally benefited from the patch. After all, the developers returned the hero’s resistance to magic from Berserker’s Blood, which they deprived him of in 2018 in patch 7.20. And this loss could not be compensated for by any bonuses from Valve.

Huskar is now what you might call Koschey the Immortal in Dota 2, especially once he reaches level seven, when he gains 50% protection against magic, and with one or two Bracer and an early Armlet of Mordiggian.

Patch 7.31 didn’t just benefit this character; it paved the way for him to reach star status in the game, taking him from a not particularly popular character to a near-top one. The developers did their best to improve the character. First of all, it is worth noticing that you can buy Aghanim’s Shard at the 15th minute, which greatly increases the combat characteristics of the character.

Thanks to the improved parameters, his win rate went up to 56%, and now Tiny is the sixth most successful character at 53.73%.

Undying the Dota 2 offlayer.

Undying

This character is often used as an offrunner. In the process of patching his characteristics did not undergo significant changes, which, in principle, is justified, because the character was very popular with the players before and his parameters suited many.

In the process of making the changes the overall win rate went down slightly – to 53.95%, but this was compensated for by the increased resistance to zombie damage. If we talk about the character’s characteristics in general, he is still very good as an offliner. And with early Vanguard, Hood of Defiance and Aghanim’s Shard, Undying’s combat stats are simply outstanding.

Undying’s stats haven’t changed much in this revision. The developers even decided to weaken him a little. But everything is relative, as slight changes for the worse in some parameters are compensated by the enhancement of Aghanim’s Shard. That is, the character remains one of the most important in the game and one of the most serious opponents in duels.

Currently, the character’s win rate is 53.67%, which corresponds to the seventh place in the rating.

Omniknight is a melee character in the game Dota 2.

Patch 7.31 was the road to the big stage for this character. After all, previously this character, even with a good 52% win rate, was not very popular. The latest changes allow the hero to use Hammer of Purity in permanent mode, making him a very formidable opponent.

These and some other changes have increased the hero’s win rate to 55.1%, which has significantly changed the way players view him.
